Meet Dr. Ann

With over 20 years of experience as a school counselor in both public and alternative education settings, Ann has dedicated her career to supporting students at risk of entering the juvenile justice system. She brings a deep understanding of the critical role that equity plays in education—advocating for inclusive content delivery, tailored interventions, and collaborative partnerships that foster academic, career, and social success for all students.

Grounded in a holistic, person-centered approach, Ann empowers students to thrive academically while modeling integrity, authenticity, and compassion. She believes that education is a dynamic and evolving culture that requires goal-oriented, collaborative leadership focused on addressing current challenges, advancing instructional practices, and promoting inclusive school communities.

Ann holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Educational Psychology and earned her Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership. Her research and academic focus areas include change management, diversity in education, legal and ethical considerations, and strategic planning—reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and systemic improvement in student outcomes.

Beyond her professional life, Ann values strong connections with family and friends. She finds renewal and inspiration through paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, yoga, and time spent in nature. She believes that cultivating balance in mind, body, and spirit is essential to leading a meaningful and harmonious life
